More Than the Sum of Their Parts

The idea behind this series is that these 8-bit characters are a collection of pixels, and I’ve taken each of those colored blocks and arranged them in a different manner. They are no longer the characters that they built, because beyond their position on screen it’s also the stories that drove them and drove the players that truly make the characters.

They are more than a bunch of pixels. You are more than flesh, bones, and water.

The Chozen (Clean and Roided)

Part II of what I’ve now called The Galaxy Defenders which featured The Effect. This one focuses on Samus and the Metroid series, using the colors of her Varia suit and her first nemesis, Mother Brain and the usual Metroids.

Awesomeness: Metroid and Hunter

I’ve been having trouble trying to get some ideas onto paper lately, as well as work on a webcomic I’m trying to start (oh yeah, and my Masters thesis), so instead of all that I made these. I’m hoping that if I find some time I might make a few more for Mario and Link.
